It is the professional home of more than 350 Lebanese ophthalmologists committed to scientific excellence, ethical practice, and lifelong learning. Our mission is threefold: to promote education and research through congresses, symposia, workshops, and continuing medical education; to represent ophthalmologists and uphold the standards and dignity of the profession; and to connect Lebanese ophthalmology with the world through our affiliations such as the International Council of Ophthalmology and the Middle East Africa Council of Ophthalmology, as well as the global contributions of our members. Above all, our purpose is to provide better eye care. Despite Lebanon’s extraordinary challenges, its ophthalmologists remain a source of national pride: clinically rigorous, academically and scientifically productive, and dedicated to serving patients from Lebanon, the region, and beyond.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
